The obvious thing for Windows 10 users to do is make the jump to Windows 11 but, sadly, not all laptops are compatible with this latest and greatest operating system.
That means it might be time to buy a new device – right on cue, Argos is offering some pretty tempting deals that come with £50 eGift cards that can then be spent on other things in store or online.
“Get rewarded with an eGift Card when you buy selected items at Argos,” the retailer explained.
There are plenty of options to choose from, including laptops from firms such as ASUS, Microsoft, Lenovo, Samsung and HP.

Argos says this offer is available until September 30 with customers simply needing to keep their recipt until the claims website opens om November 11.
Once a claim has been accepted, the £50 card will be sent out.
If you are thinking of ditching Windows 10 and moving to Apple instead, then the US firm has some good offers right now for students heading to university.
These include £100 off the latest MacBook Air, which drops the price to just £899. There is also money off tablets, including the iPad Air plus some of the deals also include free AirPods.
