With 511 runs in four matches during the ongoing five-match series against England, Rahul stands as the second-highest run-scorer behind Shubman Gill.Rahul needs 45 more runs in the fifth Test at the Oval to surpass Gavaskar’s record. The former India international scored 1152 runs in 15 Test matches in England, while Rahul currently has 1108 runs.In the fourth Test at Old Trafford, England took a 311-run lead after India were dismissed for 358 in their first innings. India faced early trouble at 0/2 with the dismissals of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sai Sudharsan.
