Bollywood’s beloved couple, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, have stepped into a beautiful new chapter of their lives—parenthood. The actors welcomed their first child, a baby girl, a little ahead of schedule, and both mother and daughter are reported to be healthy and doing well.
Kiara was supposed to give birth in August, but their little bundle of joy showed up sooner than anticipated. In the Girgaon neighbourhood of Mumbai, she was admitted to HN Reliance Hospital, where the couple made sure she had the best privacy possible. Sidharth and Kiara have kept a low profile throughout the flurry of attention surrounding their pregnancy, protecting their private moments from the spotlight.
Just last week, the couple was spotted visiting a clinic in Mumbai. Shielded under an umbrella, they tried to stay away from the paparazzi’s lenses. Accompanying them were Sidharth’s mother Rimma Malhotra and Kiara’s parents, Genevieve and Jagdeep Advani—marking a close-knit family moment as they prepared to welcome the newest member of the family.
On February 28, the couple had announced their pregnancy in the most heartwarming way. Taking to Instagram, they posted a picture of their hands gently holding a pair of tiny crocheted socks with the caption: “The greatest gift of our lives coming soon.” Fans and industry friends flooded the post with blessings and congratulations.

Kiara’s pregnancy didn’t slow her down professionally. She made headlines for her stunning debut at the Met Gala 2024 in a striking Gaurav Gupta ensemble. Her baby bump became the focal point of the look—gracefully celebrated by the designer himself, who called it a tribute to motherhood and strength. On the set of their war-romance movie Shershaah, which was made available on Amazon Prime Video in 2021, Sidharth and Kiara’s romance started. The couple kept their relationship a secret until they got married, but their on-screen chemistry carried over into real life.
On February 7, 2023, they were wed in a romantic and private ceremony at Suryagarh Palace in Rajasthan. In the midst of traditional music and desert sunsets, the wedding was attended by close friends and family, and it was truly a royal affair. Later, Kiara revealed on Koffee With Karan that Sidharth had asked her to marry him in Rome while they were on their first family vacation with his parents.
The proposal, as she described, was heartfelt and humorous. “I was so overwhelmed… then he starts saying the lines of Shershaah, like ‘Dilli ka seedha saadha launda hoon’, and I just burst out laughing,” she recalled with a smile.
After four years of dating, the couple is now embracing their new roles as parents. The birth of their daughter is a time of great love and gratitude in addition to a significant personal milestone.
