'She goes or I go': What FBI deputy director Dan Bongino internally said about Pam Bondi after Epstein fallout
All eyes are on Kash Patel, Pam Bondi and Dan Bongino as one of them will have to take the fall for Epstein case mess.

In no uncertain terms, FBI deputy director Dan Bongino said he will resign if Attorney General Pam Bondi does not resign, taking the responsibility for the Epstein bungling. Axios reported that this is exactly what Bongino internally said as he has been skipping work after Wednesday’s meeting at the White House where the Epstein fallout was discussed threadbare and Dan Bongino left the meeting angry. Speculations that Dan Bongino will resign gave in to theories that FBI director Kash Patel will also resign as Bongino is his right-hand person and Patel too agrees with Bongino’s sentiment that he is being blamed over the situation unfairly. It was Attorney General Pam Bondi who overpromised that they would deliver the culprits who engaged in sex trafficking along with Jeffrey Epstein — only to abruptly conclude the case saying there is nothing new in the case While MAGA insiders predicted a weekend resignation from Dan Bongino, Axios reported that whether Bongino ultimately quits is anyone’s guess.

‘Dan Bongino isn’t some no-name’

If Dan Bongino exits the administration, he will not become powerless as he was already a popular podcaster before joining the administration. Speculations are that if he quits, he will go back to his popular podcast and start firebombing Pam Bondi. And as he enjoys a huge MAGA support, Pam Bondi will be affected even if Bongino resigns. “Dan isn’t some no-name. he has a brand and a following. If Bondi thought she could just squash him, she’s got the wrong guy,” a Dan supporter told Axios. The report said Kash Patel spent yesterday morning trying to talk Bongino down and make peace. Bondi supporters, on the other hand, claimed that Dan Bongino yelled at the wrong woman. “If Bongino wants to make Trump choose, it’s not a choice at all for her … It’s the most important position in the cabinet for him, given his history with AG. He trusts her. He loves her,” one said. The White House dismissed any clash between FBI and DOJ and said they worked together on the Epstein case and jointly issued the memo that closed the case.
