India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav has undergone surgery for a sports hernia in Munich, Germany, and is currently in the recovery phase. The 34-year-old cricketer, who last played for India in the T20I series against England in February, shared update about his successful surgery through social media while expressing his eagerness to return to cricket.Suryakumar confirmed the details of his surgery through a social media post, stating: “Underwent surgery for a sports hernia in the lower right abdomen.
