Hasan Ali offers apology for 'King kar lega' remark, but reaffirms support for Babar Azam

NEW DELHI: Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali has offered an apology over his viral catchphrase “King Kar Lega“, originally intended as a show of support for Babar Azam.
The phrase, coined to back the former Pakistan captain, has since drawn criticism from fans who associate it with Babar’s dip in form.

Addressing the issue during a Pakistan Super League post-match press conference, Hasan said, “If people think saying ‘King Kar Lega’ was a mistake, then I apologise to all fans, including Babar.”
Who’s that IPL player?
Despite the backlash, the fast bowler stood by his words, stating, “He was the best, is the best, and will bounce back soon. Everyone goes through tough times.” Hasan also brushed off the trolling, saying he has learned not to let online abuse affect him.

On the field, Hasan was impressive for Karachi Kings, picking up 4 wickets for 28 runs, though his team suffered a heavy defeat to Lahore Qalandars.

This isn’t the first time Hasan has publicly supported Babar. Last year, he had said, “He is my king, he is the king of Pakistan cricket… I know people may abuse me again, but he is the best batsman of Pakistan and he has proved it.”
