NEW DELHI: In a fiery Indian Premier League 2025 clash between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday, a lighthearted moment between two Indian cricket icons stole the spotlight.

During the 11th over of RCB’s innings, Jasprit Bumrah collected the ball after a Rajat Patidar block and mockingly pretended to throw it at the non-striker’s end, where Virat Kohli stood.

Kohli responded with a playful smile, and the duo shared a friendly shoulder bump — a bromance moment that instantly went viral on social media.

Earlier, Kohli had welcomed Bumrah back from injury with a six off the very first ball he faced, but the mutual respect between the two stars was evident.
Kohli continued his red-hot form, smashing a 29-ball fifty and becoming the first Indian to cross 13,000 runs in T20 cricket — another feather in his already illustrious cap.
