Ram Charan turned 40 on March 27, and his wife, Upasana Konidela, hosted a grand bash at the Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad. The photos and videos from the birthday bash are going viral on the internet and offer a sneak peek into the star-studded event. In the viral photos, we can see a photobooth designed like a magazine cover. The bash was attended by Namrata Shirodkar, Lakshmi Manchu and costume designer Shilpa Reddy, among others.
Lakshmi Manchu has shared a series of photos on her Instagram Stories posing with birthday boy Ram Charan. In one of the photos, she, along with the RRR actor, can be seen posing inside a magazine-cover-like photobooth with ‘Special Birthday Edition 27.03.2025’ and ‘Global Star’ written on it. Sharing the photo she wrote, “Happy birthday, you beautiful human, the world is a better place with you in it.” For the bash, Lakshmi wore a white dress and paired it with pearl jewellery.
It was followed by a photo of the duo joined by Ram’s sister, Sushmita Konidela.
Namrata Shirodkar also shared a couple of selfies on her Instagram handle that show her posing with Lakshmi Manchu (it seems the actress changed her outfit as she can be seen in a red golden outfit), while Namrata can be seen in a white pantsuit set.
A video of fireworks from the venue is going viral on the internet.
On the occasion of his birthday, Ram Charan unveiled the character look of his next movie and announced the title, Peddi. The movie is helmed by Buchi Babu Sana and co-stars Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles.
The music of the movie is composed by AR Rahman. The makers are yet to announce the release date and other details of the film.
