Shruthi Narayanan Or Her Clone? Citadel Actress Hints At AI’s Role In Nude Video Leak Controversy



Actress Shruthi Narayanan, 24, has been caught up in a scandal. Allegedly, a private video of her was leaked online and has been widely circulated and viewed. After this controversy snowballed, and alleged nude photos of Shruthi found their way on various social media platforms, she made her Instagram account private to shield herself from trolls. Now, she has made her made her handle public again.

Along with this, Shruthi shared a video on her stories, hinting that the alleged private video is not hers, but created using AI. The clip explained how AI tools can be used to create a likeness of a person, and made to look and sound like the real person. The computer generated version of a person “never gets tired” and “never messes up”, according to the video. While Shruthi has been in the center of a controversy of her alleged private video leak, it could be that it’s an AI version of her, as she tried to explain by sharing the explainer video.  

Apart from this, Shruthi also posted some photos of herself dressed in a saree. However, she did not caption it and also disabled the comments section.

Shruthi began her career in Tamil TV serials and gained recognition after featuring in shows like Siragadikka Aasai. It airs on Star Vijay and is also streaming on JioHotstar. Vetri Vasanth with Gomathi Priya are Shruthi co-stars in the show. She has also built a strong social media presence, amassing over 56,000 followers on Instagram. Shruthi has also featured in Karthigai Deepam (2022), Citadel: Honey Bunny (2024) and Maari (2022).
