Jai Shri Krishna!
Most respected elders,
Most valued shareholders,
Our partners, advisors, and friends from the stock exchanges,
Aap sabko mera saadar pranaam. Jai Shri Krishna.
Let me begin with the one word that matters most today. Gratitude. To the millions who believed in Jio and made this day possible. Aap sabka dil se bahut bahut aabhaar.
Today, the bell at the Exchange will ring for me like a temple bell. Because for me, business is Puja. And every Puja ends with Prasad. We offer this day at the feet of Lord Ganesh ji, Lord Dwarakanath ji, Lord Srinath ji, Lord Balaji, and the Living Goddess, Bharat Mata. Prasad is always shared. Today, Jio is shared with India.
Bhaiyon aur Behno, Bharat ki sabse badi poonji, uske sapne hain. Yahan har kisi ka ek sapna hai. Yahan haath khaali ho sakte hain, par aankhein kabhi khaali nahin hotin. Barson pehle, Chorwad ke ek saadharan ghar se bhi ek sapna nikla tha. Ek ladka, jo Aden mein petrol pump par naukri karta tha. Na paisa. Na pehchaan.
Hamare Aadaraneeya Dadaji, Shri Dhirubhai Ambani.
Unhone dikhaya ki ek saadharan Bharatiya bhi asaadharan sapna dekh sakta hai. Phir hamare Pitaji ne sapna dekha: Bharat kisi se peeche nahin rahega.
Jamnagar ki banjar kahi jaane wali zameen par, duniya ki sabse badi refinery khada karke dikhaya. Unhone dikhaya ki jab Bharat banata hai, toh duniya dekhti hai.
Phir aaya naya Bharat. Yuva Bharat. Aur ek naya sapna: har haath mein internet ka, har gaon mein duniya ka. Is sapne ka naam tha Jio.
Is sapne ka beej ko Isha Didi ne boya. Aur Aakash Bhai ne us beej ko apna sapna bana liya.
Jio ko poore desh ne duaayein di. Maa ne kaha, jiyo mere laal. Daadi ne kaha, jug jug jiyo. Aur doston ne kaha, jiyo yaar!
Jio, shayad duniya ka pehla aisa naam, jo khud ek aashirvaad hai.
Jab duniya ruk gayi thi, school band hue, lekin padhai nahin ruki. Beta ghar chhodkar shehar gaya, par maa door nahin hui. Sabzi aur kitni der pakani hai, Maa ne video call par sabzi ka rang dekhkar bata diya.
Aaj Bhagwan ke divya darshan bhi, ghar baithe prapt karne ka saubhagya milta hai. Ek chote sheher ki ladki, ek mobile phone, aur lakhon log use sunne lage.
Inhe influencer kaha jaata hai. Hazazron meel door, Sarhad pe khada jawaan, ek video call par, ghar par bola, “Maa, mein theek hoon. Beti, mein theek hoon.”
Mumbai ka bada doctor, Rajasthan ke paali ka serious mareez ko jaan de raha hai. Beech mein, bask ek connection, Jio.
Jio dikhta nahin. Par Bharat ke har digital sapne mein dhadakta hai. Jio par bharosa karne wale Jio parivaar ke tirpan crore sadasyon ko hamara, sabse
pehle, saadar naman.
Jio aap ne banaya. Aapke sapne poore karna, yahi hamari sapna hai.
Today, Isha Didi, Akash Bhai, and I stand before you as three bodies, but one soul, with one commitment: to honour these dreams.
Reliance will keep dreaming new dreams. But its roots stay the same: My Grandfather’s dream, My Grandmother’s blessings, My Father’s guidance, and My
Mother’s sanskaar of humility and care.
To every member of the Jio family: the field teams, the technicians who climbed towers in rain and heat, the engineers, the service staff, the store teams, our retail partners, and all their families.
Aaj Jio jo kuch bhi hai, aap sab ki wajah se hai. This day is yours. Aap ka mehnat aaj safal ho raha hai, aur rang la raha hai.
And our deepest gratitude to our Aadaraneeya Pradhan Mantri, Shri Narendra Damodardas Modi ji, for the vision of Digital India that gave Jio its purpose, and for his continuous guidance and support. Adaraneeya Modi ji, aapko hamaara koti koti pranaam! Mujhe poora vishwas hai, aane wala kal Bharat ka hai. Aur Bharat ka kal, uske yuvaon ka hai. Viksit Bharat ke is sapne ko sach karne mein, hum sabse aage khade milenge. Jee jaan se.
Jai Hind! Jai Shri Krishna!
Thank you, Bharat. Jio aap ne banaya.
And now, it is my pleasure to invite my dearest elder sister, Isha didi, to share a few words with us.
Jai Jio. Bharat Mata Ki Jai. Jai Sri Krishna. Jug jug Jio.
[English translation follows:
Jai Shri Krishna!
Most respected elders,
Most valued shareholders,
Our partners, advisors, and friends from the stock exchanges,
My respectful greetings to you all. Jai Shri Krishna.
Let me begin with the one word that matters most today: Gratitude. To the millions who believed in Jio and made this day possible, I express my heartfelt gratitude from the bottom of my heart.
Today, the bell at the Exchange will ring for me like a temple bell. Because for me, business is worship (Puja), and every worship ends with blessed offering (Prasad). We offer this day at the feet of Lord Ganesh, Lord Dwarakanath, Lord Srinath, Lord Balaji, and the Living Goddess, Bharat Mata (Mother India). Prasad is always shared. Today, Jio is shared with India.
Brothers and sisters, India’s greatest wealth is its dreams. Everyone here has a dream. Hands may be empty here, but eyes are never empty of dreams. Years ago, a dream was born in a simple home in Chorwad—a boy who worked at a petrol pump in Aden. No money. No identity.
Our respected Grandfather, Shri Dhirubhai Ambani.
He showed that an ordinary Indian can also dream extraordinary dreams. Then our Father dreamed a dream: India will not lag behind anyone.
Right on the barren lands of Jamnagar, he built and showed the world’s largest refinery. He showed that when India builds, the world watches.
Then came New India. Youthful India. And a new dream: the internet in every hand, the world in every village. The name of this dream was Jio.
The seed of this dream was sown by Isha Didi. And Akash Bhai made that seed his own dream.
The entire country blessed Jio. Mothers said, “Live long, my dear son.” Grandmothers said,
“Live for ages.” And friends said, “Live it up, my friend!”
Jio is perhaps the world’s first name that is a blessing in itself.
When the world came to a standstill, schools closed, but learning did not stop. A son left home for the city, but his mother wasn’t far away. Just by looking at the color of the vegetables over a video call, a mother could tell how much longer they needed to cook.
Today, we have the good fortune of receiving divine glimpses (darshan) of God right from our homes. A girl from a small town uses a mobile phone, and millions begin to listen to her.
They are called influencers. Thousands of miles away, a soldier standing at the border says on a video call back home, “Mother, I am fine. Daughter, I am fine.”
A top doctor in Mumbai is saving the life of a critical patient in Pali, Rajasthan. In between, just one connection: Jio.
Jio is invisible, yet it beats in every digital dream of India. Our foremost and respectful salutations to the 530 million members of the Jio family who trusted Jio.
You created Jio. Fulfilling your dreams—that is our dream.
Today, Isha Didi, Akash Bhai, and I stand before you as three bodies, but one soul, with one commitment: to honor these dreams.
Reliance will keep dreaming new dreams. But its roots stay the same: My Grandfather’s dream, My Grandmother’s blessings, My Father’s guidance, and My Mother’s cultural values (sanskaar) of humility and care.
To every member of the Jio family: the field teams, the technicians who climbed towers in rain and heat, the engineers, the service staff, the store teams, our retail partners, and all their families.
Whatever Jio is today, it is because of all of you. This day is yours. Your hard work is bearing fruit today and paying off.
And our deepest gratitude to our respected Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Damodardas Modi ji, for the vision of Digital India that gave Jio its purpose, and for his continuous guidance and support. Respected Modi ji, our countless prostrations and salutations to you! I have full faith that tomorrow belongs to India, and India’s tomorrow belongs to its youth. In making this dream of a Developed India (Viksit Bharat) a reality, you will find us standing at the very forefront, with all our heart and soul.
Jai Hind! Jai Shri Krishna!
Thank you, Bharat. You built Jio.
And now, it is my pleasure to invite my dearest elder sister, Isha didi, to share a few words with us.
Jai Jio. Long live Mother India (Bharat Mata Ki Jai). Jai Sri Krishna. Live long and prosper (Jug jug Jio).]
