Athiya Shetty-KL Rahul Welcome Baby Girl, Share Announcement On Instagram



Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul took to their Instagram account to announce the arrival of their baby girl. The actor-cricketer couple tied the knot on January 23, 2023, in an intimate ceremony at Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala. In November 2024, Athiya and KL Rahul announced their pregnancy, sharing an adorable post that read, “Our beautiful blessing is coming soon. 2025,” accompanied by baby feet emojis.

As soon as the couple made the announcement, their fans and friends took to the comment section to congratulate the new parents. Earlier today, KL Rahul rushed to Mumbai from Visakhapatnam, where he was supposed to play the IPL 2025 match between Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants . The star Indian batsman rushed home to be with his wife who was due to deliver anytime soon. 

On March 12, Athiya Shetty took to her Instagram account to share a series of photos from her maternity shoot. The actor-cricketer couple shared the photos in a joint post, “Oh, baby”. The couple’s shoot was held at their home in Mumbai, with select outdoor shots of the Motichoor Chaknachoor actress.  

The mom-to-be flaunted her baby bump for the first time in the photos. She donned a beige floor-length gown while KL Rahul wore a simple white t-shirt teamed with a denim pant. In another photo, Athiya changed into a loose-fitted white shirt and wide-legged jeans which flaunted her baby bump. The couple announced their first pregnancy in November 2024.
