BTS’ V’s Stunning Transformation Takes Breath Away, Reveals Loosing 10kg Weight During Military Service



BTS’ Kim Taehyung aka V has once again sent the internet into a burning frenzy despite being away from the limelight due to his military service. The global icon, who has been largely inactive on social media since his enlistment, however recently surprised fans with a new update revealing heart pumping transformation in his physique.

Taking to Weverse on March 23, V reassured his fans about his well-being through a post, where he shared an update on his fitness journey. The singer revealed that he had lost 10 kg, writing, “But recently…! I lost a lot of weight, right? I lost 10kg… Hahahaha. I’ll try harder.”

V shared several photos highlighting his leaner physique along with his message. He dressed casually yet striking in a grey top, brown wide-leg trousers, and a mustard-yellow beanie, exuding effortless style while showcasing his toned body. Unsurprisingly, his update went viral with an outpour of reactions from ARMY, his devoted fanbase.

As soon as V’s photos appeared on social media, ARMY expressed their excitement. One fan wrote, “He lost 10kg and looks like this dayummmmmn,” while another commented, “Perfection is KIM TAEHYUNG.”

Another fan took to X (formerly Twitter) to speculate about his weight loss, saying, “If I’m not wrong, at some point Taehyung said he had hit the 80kg mark and was going back to his usual weight!”

V began his mandatory military service in December 2023 and is set to complete it by June 10, 2025. He is serving alongside other BTS members, who are also fulfilling South Korea’s military duty, which lasts between 18 and 21 months.
