IPL 2025 Opening Ceremony: Shreya Ghoshal Floors Crowd At Eden Garden With Vande Mataran, Mere Dholna And More Chartbusters



IPL 2025 Opening Ceremony: Singer Shreya Ghoshal kicked off the opening ceremony of the 2025 edition of the domestic cricket league with a melodious rendition of her Bhool Bhulaiyaa song Mere Dholna, with an orchestra hitting the high notes. She followed it up with a performance of the Padmaavat song Ghoomar, Sanju song Kar Har Maidaan Fateh, Pushpa 2 track Angaaron, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag song Zinda, Rang De Basanti and Om Shanti Om title tracks, Ghar More Pardesiya from Kalank and more. Her 20-minute-long act saw the crowd cheering and joining her for a sing-along. The opening match of the IPL is being played between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders at the latter’s home ground. 

Shreya’s medley floored the crowd at Kolkata’s Eden Garden. Her high-energy performance became the highlight of the IPL 2025 opening ceremony. She was dressed in a dark blue gown with detailing. She grooved while she sang and enthralled the audiences at the venue and the crores streaming the IPL 2025 live at home.

The light play added visual elements and made the performance worth remembering. The crowd waved with Shreya as she belted out Vande Mataram, injecting the attendees with pride and enthusiasm. Following Shreya’s melodious act with her high-energy performance was Disha Patani .

The actress grooved to her hit tracks, dressed in a shimmery bralette, skirt and ankle-length boots. She danced to Do You Love Me, Malang and many more tracks and infused the crowd with lively energy. She also joined Karan Aujla and other background dancers as they performed their latest song Tell Me.
