Despite efforts by his agency, GOLDMEDALIST, to manage the situation, things seem unfavourable for him. As the matter gets serious, Kim Soo Hyun has vanished from the public eye. While some netizens speculate that he has left South Korea and fled to a foreign country, a new report suggests otherwise.
On March 19, Koreaboo quoted someone claiming to be a close friend of Soo-Hyun, revealing his current whereabouts. This individual reportedly spoke to TV Report about the 37-year-old actor.
The alleged friend stated, “Kim Soo Hyun is currently staying with his family. I’m not sure if he is staying with his cousin or his father, but he is relying on his family to help provide stability and comfort.” They also mentioned that Kim Soo-Hyun personally approves all official statements before his agency releases them. “The official statements that are being released by Gold Medalist are being shared after cross-checking with Kim Soo Hyun himself,” they added.
Sae-ron died by suicide at her home in Seoul on February 16. Following her funeral, her family alleged that Soo Hyun had been in a relationship with the actress when he was in his 30s, while she was only 15. The controversy intensified when her family shared old messages from Kim Sae-ron’s phone to dispute the Gold Medalist’s denial of the relationship.
Sae-ron’s family stated that these messages contradicted the agency’s claim that no relationship existed while she was underage.
Although Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, denied the allegations of a relationship with a minor, her family demanded a public apology during a press conference. They accused the actor of causing financial hardship and mental stress for their late daughter, which they claim ultimately led to her death.
