Saif Ali Khan is currently holidaying in London with family. A video of the actor is going viral on the internet that shows him showing off his bowling skills on a cricket field. For the unversed, Saif is the son of legendary Indian cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, popularly known as Tiger Pataudi. Even his grandfather, Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi, captained the cricket team in 1946 and played Test cricket for England in 132 and 1934.
In a video going viral on the internet, Saif is dressed in a classic white sports ensemble, running in to bowl. He managed to stop the batter from taking a run with his bowling. He can be seen enjoying the time playing on the field.
Soon after the video was uploaded, the fans flooded the comment section comparing the actor’s bowling with legendary Indian bowlers, including Roger Binny and Anil Kumble. A user wrote, “Wow wasnt expecting sucha beautiful bowling action from an actor.” Another wrote, “Bowling action reminds me Darren of Gough.” A third user wrote, “Seems like he has adopted Jeff Thomas’s style bowling action”. “Anil Kumble run up. Stuart Binny action,” a user wrote.
Saif is gearing up for the release of his movie Haiwaan, co-starring Akshay Kumar. Helmed by Priyadarshan, the action-thriller stars him as a visually impaired music teacher. Akshay, on the other hand, plays the antagonist. The film is inspired by the 2016 Malayalam thriller Oppam, starring Mohanlal. The plot follows a visually impaired man protecting a young girl from a ruthless psychopath. Mohanlal will be making a cameo appearance in the film. The film is slated to release on September 11.
Earlier this year, he was seen in Netflix original Kartavya and received immense praise for his performance from the critics and audience.
